Business Needs
As a rapidly expanding publically held company with both corporate and franchise locations, Buffalo Wild Wings needed a business management system that allows them to meet the demands of their growing company.

With the continual addition of new corporate and franchise locations, Buffalo Wild Wings must have the ability to easily create uniform start-up processes, while ensuring that standard reporting requirements are in place.

In addition to setting up and monitoring corporate and franchise locations, Buffalo Wild Wings requires a business management system that also provides compliance to SOX requirements and Segregation of Duties.

Solutions
Buffalo Wild Wings needed a business management solution that would adapt with the needs of their growing business. OTT, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, worked with Buffalo Wild Wings to create a business management solution that can easily adapt with the needs of Buffalo Wild Wings' growing business.

Through the mass modify process in Microsoft Dynamics GP, Buffalo Wild Wings can easily copy an existing restaurant segment eliminating the need to re-enter new accounts. Through FRx, a robust financial reporting component of Microsoft Dynamics GP, the new restaurant location is quickly added to Buffalo Wild Wings' hierarchical report layouts, giving a real-time view of all Buffalo Wild Wings locations. Within minutes, Buffalo Wild Wings is now able to add a new location and begin processing.

The Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for Payables module within Microsoft Dynamics GP is another component that is saving time and money for Buffalo Wild Wings. This module allows Buffalo Wild Wings to pay their food vendors timely and to take advantage of available cash discounts by meeting their payment terms. The OTT, Inc. EFT Emailing solution, which includes detailed information from the invoices paid, allows Buffalo Wild Wings the ability to provide the food vendors with additional details behind the payments they receive electronically, ensuring the food vendor can apply them appropriately.

Buffalo Wild Wings has also implemented a document imaging solution that allows their food invoices to be scanned and entered into Microsoft Dynamics GP. Within their document imaging solution, Buffalo Wild Wings has defined criteria that generates a 99% matching ability, minimizing the need to manually enter invoices.

The Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for Receivables module provides Buffalo Wild Wings with the added benefit of accepting franchise payments through ACH. Accepting franchise payments through ACH provides Buffalo Wild Wings with a greater cash flow and eliminates the time and expenses associated with manually collecting payments from each franchise.

In addition to the standard functionality of the EFT for Receivables module, OTT, Inc. provided a simple modification to the EFT process, allowing Buffalo Wild Wings to mark all documents rather than manually selecting specific payments. This modification saves Buffalo Wild Wings one day's work from manual entry every month.
